Dr. Bart Halsberghe has always been an advocate of evidenced-based
veterinary medicine and farriery. He is committed to push veterinary medicine
and farriery to a higher level by participating in research and field trials,
lecturing and authoring books.
He has published several research articles on the use of whole body vibration
therapy in the horse, is one of the authors of the book: Essential facts of
equine physical therapy, rehabilitation and sport medicine, has been highly
involved in the field-trials and basic research of Split-shoes, and lectures all
over the world on different topics such as hoof and horse health, shoeing,
imaging, physiatry, and sports medicine and rehabilitation.
